This isn't a real question is it? Eric Gordon is a much better player, he is an underrated defender, 3 point shooter, and can slash hes everything you could want in a SG and more.

Mayo is a streaky shooter, decent defender and more hyped up but not better. I would take EJ ( Eric Gordon Jr. ) in a second unless of course he is injury riddled the rest of his career ( only has played 2 games this year ) or he really doesn't wana play for the hornets.
