UNC's John Henson can defend, rebound and block shots but strength is an issue
Offensive production and physical strength are two of the question marks surrounding Henson's game but first let's examine some of his assets, which are considerable.
Henson was North Carolina's first ACC Defensive Player of the Year, an award he won as both a sophomore and a junior. An outstanding rebounder for the Tar Heels from the day he set foot on campus, Henson recorded 37 double-doubles in 72 games during his final two seasons in college.
As a sophomore, Henson became just the third Tar Heels' player in 13 years to average a double-double with 11.7 points and 10.1 rebounds in 35 games. As a junior, he narrowly missed repeating the feat with averages of 13.7 points and 9.9 rebounds.
