Default Re: Projecting Olympic Rosters

Several teams released their pool of candidates today...

Brazil:
They are Marcelo Huertas, Larry James Taylor Jr, Raul Togni Neto, Leandro Barbosa, Marcelo Machado, Marcus Vinicius Vieira De Souza, Alex Ribeiro Garcia, Anderson Varejao, Guilherme Giovannoni, Tiago Splitter, Rafael Hettsheimeir, Nene and Caio Torres.

I'm guessing Caio Torres will be the only cut here.

Lithuania:
Tomas Delininkaitis, Deividas Dulkys, Paulius Jankunas, Simas Jasaitis, Sarunas Jasikevicius, Robertas Javtokas, Adas Juskevicius, Mantas Kalnietis, Rimantas Kaukenas, Antanas Kavaliauskas, Linas Kleiza, Tadas Klimavicius, Mindaugas Kuzminskas, Jonas Maciulis, Donatas Motiejunas, Martynas Pocius, Renaldas Seibutis, Darius Songaila, Jonas Valanciunas.

Lithuania's final roster is always unpredictable. Keliza, Jasikevicius, Kalnietis, Valanciunas, Pocius, Kaukenas, Javtokas, Jankunas, and Jasaitis (probably Maciulis too if he's healthy) are locks I would venture to say.

Angola:
Leonel Paulo, Carlos Almeida, Armando Costa, Joachim Gomes, Felizardo Ambrósio, Carlos Morais, Paulo Barros, Roberto Fortes, Divaldo Mbunga, Paulo Santana, Jorge Tati, Eduardo Mingas, Milton Barros, Olímpio Cipriano, Luís Costa, Yanick Moreira and Valdelicio Joaquim.

Germany:
Robin Benzing, Bastian Doreth, Steffen Hamann, Jan-Hendrik Jagla, Philipp Schwethelm, Philipp Neumann, Tibor Pleiß, Karsten Tadda, Heiko Schaffartzik, Lucca Staiger, Yassin Idbihi, Niels Giffey, Per Günther, Elias Harris, Mathis Mönninghoff, Patrick Heckmann, Maximilian Kleber, Tim Ohlbrecht, Daniel Theis, Maik Zirbes, Philip Zwiener.

This is another tough one to predict because a lot of their regular players weren't even significant rotation players for their club teams this year.

Dominican Republic:
Al Horford, Jack Michael Martínez, Francisco García, Charlie Villanueva, Eulis Báez, Josh Asselin, Luis Flores, Edgar Sosa, Gerardo Suero, Juan Coronado, Manuel Fortuna, Víctor Liz, Ronald Ramón, Alejandro Salas, Orlando Sánchez, Eloy Vargas, Karl Towns, Manuel Guzmán, Dagoberto Peña, James Feldeine, Manny Quezada, Sammy Mejía and Ricky Greer.

France:
Main: Andrew Albicy, Rodrigue Beaubois, Tony Parker, Steed Tchicamboud, Yannick Bokolo, Fabien Causeur, Nando De Colo, Nicolas Batum, Yakhouba Diawara, Mickael Gelabale, Charles Kahudi, Boris Diaw, Florent Pietrus, Ali Traoré, Joakim Noah, Ian Mahinmi, Kevin Seraphin, Ronny Turiaf
Reserves: Ajinca - Fournier - Heurtel - Jackson - M. Pietrus - Tillie

Final roster will probably be:
Parker / Beaubois / Albicy
De Colo / Causeur
Batum / Gelabale
Diaw / Seraphin
Noah / Turiaf / Traore
