TV analysts take their cues from scouts who are seasoned evaluators. NFL franchises spend loads of money researching these kids as to not make a mistake. Plus they've given personal workouts to evaluate the competency of their choices.

You make a point, but scouts apparently fail all the time. And do you not think every now and again a team would get pressured into drafting a prospect enshrouded by hype, especially when that prospect is an idk Heisman winner/highlight machine/statistical god/athletic freak, almost regardless of what should be glaring weaknesses in his game?
