Not very. I live in a small town of 5,498 people in Arkansas. 5,051 of those are white which is 92%. Sounds about right and is about the norm in this part of the state. In my graduating class of 225 there was only five or six African-Americans, and even fewer Hispanics. Starting in 6th grade I played AAU ball for a team based in a city in central Arkansas for three or four years. I was one of two white guys on the team. It was a culture shock the first year and took some getting used to.
