MarShon Brooks hurt in preseason
The Nets suffered their first significant injury of training camp Thursday, when MarShon Brooks found himself in a boot to try and deal with tendinitis in his right foot.
In terms of a long-term prognosis, it’s certainly not the worst thing in the world. Brooks will probably be back in about a week, and should be fine for the start of the regular season. But the injury will have a pretty significant impact on the Nets in the preseason, and likely into the early part of the regular season, for a variety of reasons
