Default Canadian university team holds its own against Villanova

Carleton, the top university for men's basketball pretty much every year in Canadian Interuniversity Sport, lost by 6 tonight to Villanova on Villanova's home court. Phil Scrubb, a product of Vancouver, British Columbia, put up 32 points (shooting 8-of-17 from beyond the arc).

"(Scrubbs) is a talented guy," stated Wright. "We knew what he was capable of and he's definitely someone who could be effective in the Big East."

A few hoops junkies in Canada have said Scrubb has a shot at playing in the league after he's done at university. So far, he's proven on every stage - collegiate, as well as international - that it's not so far-fetched an idea as some may think.
