Default James Harden was dominating, but the Nuggets contained him

The NBA offseason was often dominated by Jeremy Lin news and drama.
The first week of the regular season was owned by Rockets guard James Harden, who was named Western Conference player of the week Monday.
Denver silenced both Wednesday, holding the Houston duo to a combined 21 points on 7-of-24 shooting. Harden never looked comfortable and rarely was the aggressor. Lin was overmatched by Nuggets point guard Ty Lawson.
Seven combined points from Harden and Lin on just 3-of-11 shooting during the first half said everything about their off nights and Denver's defensive stand.
