It means they had a better career

Bo Jackson might be the GOAT, but due to a lack of resume aka career, you can't rank him high unless it is just being based on one year or prime years.

Also to me the current era is harder for RBs than Gales is much harder for a RB to win MVP today and every down backs are becoming extinct...
