Carmelo Anthony returns for Knicks
After missing the previous two games due to a lacerated finger, Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony had a strong return Sunday night against his former team -- the Nuggets. He scored a game-high 34 points with six rebounds in the 112-106 win. He went 10 for 24 from the floor, including 3 for 8 from downtown, and made 11 of 16 free throws. Anthony also chipped in with two steals and an assist while playing 39 minutes in the victory. "I don't have no hard feelings toward Denver. It was just one of them games that no matter how many runs we went on, they just wasn't going anywhere," Anthony said.
Analysis: Anthony continues to have a bounce-back campaign for the Knicks and showed minimal signs of his injury Sunday. He is averaging 30.3 points with five rebounds and two steals in the previous three contests despite shooting just 39 percent over that span. Few players in the NBA can score as consistently as Anthony so get the 28-year-old active in all Fantasy formats with the Nets, Lakers and Cavaliers on the schedule for Week 7 (Dec. 10-16).
