If Nash is injured for most of these next three seasons, it could probably be a mistake because we took such a gamble on a very old NBA player with a huge sum of cash. financially it can be difficult to recover from in the long run, especially if it doesn't work out, and no body will want him if we attempt to trade him. Then if we do end up losing him, we would still be way over the cap and have nearly 0 chance of financial flexibility of signing players.

Basically, we just have to hope he plays well and honors his contract.
