I am not at all happy with the price we paid. I was able to stomach TDA but adding Noah S is really crap.
That said - we just got a legit ace that makes our opening day starter from last season our #5. We are really stacked now and I think we have to be the favourite to win the World series. This may seem a little too over-the-top but seriously this is a pretty crazy off-season. Yankees and Redsox are regressing. Playoffs are a virtual lock with this acquisition.
I like our chances in the post-season with power arms Johnson and Morrow sandwiching Dickey. Opposing teams will be completely screwed.

I know about the deal, but signing Dickey to a large extension at the age of 38 is risky. Especially if you are giving up a bunch of young talent.
