How many times has Larry Brown been fired? However, his capacity to be a head coach is never questioned, just based on how many teams have let him go.
Bowen started out pretty well with his podcast, but now its becoming annoying how many times he references Popovich and the Spurs. Sometimes he doesn't even talk about the team he's asked about -- its all about the Spurs, and how they do things.
Well its not about how many times a coach is fired, its about the overall performance. You can have a bad season and get fired, it happens from time to time. The problem with Avery Johnson is that hes been with the Nets for more than 2 seasons and has basically done nothing. Before getting dismissed in Charlotte Larry Brown actually took the team to their franchise's first playoffs appearance. Thats the difference between the two.
