This comes as little surprise, as we've chronicled the week that was for Tornike Shengelia down in the D-Leauge, but he's now been named the D-League Player of the Week.
A nice tip of the cap to Toko, who averaged video game numbers: 31.5 points on 76-percent shooting, 15.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 41 minutes for the Springfield Armor.
Shengelia is the first Armor player this season to win the award, though one could argue that Tyshawn Taylor could have taken the runner-up award, averaging 24.5 points and nine assists.
I know its the D-League but this man is absolutely killing it. Breaking records left and right. I hope he stays with us because I think this guy can develop into some player.
