Default Ricky Rubio gets first career triple-double

Minnesota guard Ricky Rubio notched his first career triple-double during Tuesday's contest against the Spurs. Rubio finished with 21 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists in the 107-83 win on 9 of 17 shooting from the field. He grabbed his 10th rebound -- which gave him the triple-double -- with with 9:14 to play in the game, earning a standing ovation from home crowd. Rubio also added one steal to his stat line, while logging 35 minutes of game action. "I just try to be aggressive all the time," Rubio said. "Stats are the last thing I try to watch. The victory is the most important thing."

Analysis: While Rubio claims stats don't matter to him, that is all Fantasy owners care about and the 22-year-old's recent stats have given owners a reason to smile. It took much longer than anticipated, but Rubio appears to finally be regaining some of his old form from his rookie campaign. The 22-year-old is now averaging 13.3 points, 10.7 assists, 8.3 rebounds and 2.6 steals over his last seven contests, despite shooting just 39 percent from the field over that same span. Fantasy owners should take full advantage and leave Rubio active in all formats, while he is playing at such at high level.
