I am pretty sure a 4.0 GPA is equivalent to having all A's in your classes, 3.0 GPA is having all B's in your classes...
I don't really recall what our grading system is like because I've just gone through percentage grades in high school, if I remember correctly, 50-59 is a D, 60-69 is a C, 70-79 is a B, 80-84 is A-, 85-89 is A and 90+ is A+.
I could be wrong, been a while since I saw a letter grade.
