Yeah, he got a 30 million signing bonus, but the deal is structured so that the Colts will save almost 4 million on the cap - giving them an oppurtunity to re-sign a few players they would like to keep around.
Overall, the deal is okay by me. It's a lot of money, and he only had 6 sacks last year...but he's a pressence. You have to account for him. Which makes life easier for the rest of the defense.
Primere pass rushers are gonna cost ya. Colts did the right thing regardless of cost.
