You probably got a couple ways to hide this if you didn't use your parents amazon to order it, in which case they probably will find out.

You can either tell your mom you bought a book from amazon, get another book from Barnes and noble before it comes, then when the package comes hopefully shell be trusting enough to not open it. Then grab the box open it in your room and show her the book you're not embarrassed about that you bought at b and n, and she'll be happy you're reading on your own to really care.

Or you could say it's a Christmas present for her, but might snoop around then to see what you bought her and find something more embarrassing than that. Good luck.

i bombed a test, came home from practice, and the book is there on the table. they must have opened the package. another act of not respecting my privacy because my cousin has to come over and i'm going to have to share my room with my little sister. so i either have to sleep on the floor on in the bed with her, and i don't like sleeping on the floor (DON'T MAKE ANY JOKES). anyways i noticed my dad was silent in the car on the way home too. when my eyes met the book i could feel him staring at me and then he went to his room. i already know were going to have a "talk". this is so fvcking stupid. all this over a fvcking book.
