Giddey wasn’t useless. He got exposed a bit in the playoffs with his 3 ball being inconsistent.
He can score a bit, pass and rebound. He’s young still, he still has room to improve. If he can bring his 3 point shooting up a tad bit so teams won’t leave him at the 3 point line he should be good. He’s not gonna be part of a big 3 or anything but...
Names mentioned to possible fill coaching positions around JJ.

Somebody tell Bran that the coach can't space the floor haha.
I honestly wonder if Bron is moving on, if they are gonna blow it up. Otherwise, this hire makes no sense. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe JJ is good. I haven't extensively listened to his podcast, etc, but I never thought he was a great announcer. I'd kill to have some of the guys who are...
In all honestly tho it always surprises me when guys who have prime time broadcasting gigs wanna go into or go back into coaching.
I guess the money is a lot better in coaching these days. But the quality of life seems like itd just be much better in broadcasting than on the coaching grind.
I hate this move... if Lebron's not feelin it. If he is feeling it then I absolutely love this move.
It's called being an INDEPENDENT THINKER.
Give it a try some time, LeHater sheep.
Who knows? He's a 1st time nba coach but will have staff that is experienced and a guy many of you have been claiming player coached his teams for some time now. I think he'll be OK, I mean shit the bar is low, 8th seed is all he has to beat to be "better" than the last coach.....
I think 2 scotties would resemble Tatum and Browns duo a bit, because they'd be closer in both skill and pecking order. I honestly think if Pippen and Mj had been drafted within a year of each other fhe dynamic would have been completely different too.
Per for sure, they've made so many new metrics in the last generation I can't remember them all but I was definitely a stat junkie for a bit and even tried my hand at making one myself. I've read articles/blogs from the creators when available for that echoed that same sentiment of if someone wrong was at the top, the formula needed work....
Im not questioning his greatness in the least, just sharing what I've seen in my travels. He's great in most metrics as is Lebrom, or Wilt for that matter. But just stating that you will come out on top more often when the statisticians believe their work won't be validated if your name isn't at the top.
Why haven't all these "great" coaches lebron "scapegoated" gone on to be successful anywhere else in the NBA?
Walton.... trash
Vogel.... trash
that dude from overseas with his eyes too close together.....trash

seems like everyone who gets fired was fired for a reason. just admit you hate the man
