he’s officially a GTD, but I think they should let him sit, and fully heal. I think Gafford can do his thing, and Powell still runs the floor well and sets a good gortat screen. Powell will very likely get dunked on by Ant tho. And Reid.

Wes Unseld made a few Finals and a bunch of Conference Finals in his first couple of seasons.
That might be the only case.

means nothing.
If you dont start giving awards backwards too going back into 60s and 70s. since ABA and NBA merged.
start re-evaluating conference FMVPs since 1960s and start handing them out.
or else, it means nothing. it is just another series award.

True altho the award doesnt exist without MJ, he provided Bird an ass to kick all around the Eastern Conference.
The award’s existence is literally a celebration of MJ getting his ass kicked.

Has Jaylen Brown surpassed anyone in your book tonight now that he has been named Larry Bird Eastern Conference Finals MVP?
Who will Luka or Kyrie pass all-time tomorrow if they win the Magic Johnson Western Conference Finals MVP?

Depends what you call “boring” holding a high octane offense scoreless for the final 3 1/2 minutes is just good fvxking basketball…

Kinda like the pels in 2022 but that team won both play-in games and managed to become the 8th seed against the 64-win suns bt.

It’s really weird because people say Boston is stacked yet they have no actual stars. Either way titles are coming

Melo had most of those same traits, amd was bigger/stronger to boot yet he couldn't do shit with the triangle. It' got outdated once nobody saw value in mid range anymore.

"Death, much like the setting sun, signifies the end of a day's journey. It's a transition, not an end, much like the seasons that come and go. Just as the mighty redwoods eventually fall to nourish the forest floor, our lives contribute to the ever-unfolding tapestry of existence. It's a time to reflect on the beauty and richness of the moments...

To me Embiid and Maxey was great this season's playoff. The only reason they lost was Tobias Harris being absolute trash. You can't have your 3rd option playing this bad and expect to win unless you have top tier defense.

Embiid literally led the entire playoffs this year in +/- on off court in the 1st round. i just let them talk. i dont even bother to respond. one they keep bringing up embiid and hakeem anytime you expose their boy. When they have nothing to do with the OP

Jokic is a much better player than Embiid but this is a retarded comparison. Denver plays better defensively in the playoffs with Joker on the bench, while the Sixer's defense turns into a dumpster fire without Embiid. You have to look at the value within the team than just comparing teams like that, it gives much better insights.

Not great using the 2019 Raptors series as an example tho.
His on/off numbers are probably the biggest individual differential in a playoff series ever.
Sure it is true that his offensive numbers are down in all his playoff series except for 2020, but defensively his importance and impact on his team's defense isn't something that...

Jordan's offensive game had NO weankess. this is what T offense benefitted from.
He was brilliant in post. He was brilliant on foot work. He was brilliant with soft hands and ball control. He was brilliant in spot up shots. He was brilliant on pull-ups. That deadly mid-range game that everyone talks about.
Shaq's laziness costed LAL also....

Because the triangle was no longer feasible in the modern nba and in the time frame of his career he was far more successful than the triangle on all the teams that ran it combined.... lol

Congrats to the Celtics but this was one of the easiest paths to the finals in nba history
1st round: No Butler
2nd round: Mitchell out for half the series. No Jarrett Allen
ECF: No Haliburton for half the series. Injured in game 2.
