I don't have evidence and data, rather I'm using logic based on a fairly rudimentary aspect of the mind that I think most people can fundamentally agree on. Hence why I said "it makes sense". In many cases the simplest answer is correct.
If one has a big presentation at work in the morning, it's likely they won't be thinking about the '84...

BS.
Kobe "choked". plain and simple.
Just like Kobe choked and sabotaged 2004 Finals.
Just like Kobe choked away 2008 NBA Finals despite being reigning season MVP.
If we are so tough on LBJ for choking away 2007 NBA Finals and 2011 NBA Finals......Lets be atleast fair and consistent.

Rich people and institutions are most impacted by the stock market, and they have the most power. I talked about this already. Rich people and institutions are the ones that fund the candidates and they are the ones whose stages are the largest/most powerful. Stock market is massive for those 2 groups. Institutions include both private and public...

Lebron in 2021-22 put up better numbers than any of his seasons from 2011-2021 and missed the Playoffs (33-49 LOL). Clearly those numbers don't mean the same in this era.

NBA has a huge steroid problem just like 90s MLB did.
At some point, they need to address it.

Robinson was actually a monster defensively in 1999. He was a definite superstar. I think Pippen is the worst player of the four especially given his injuries.

That team was loaded with talent though.
Rasheed Wallace, Steve Smith, Stoudamire, Sabonis, even had Jermaine O'Neal though they didn't use him on top of Pippen.

Yeah I've never really gotten this line of logic, if you want a ball distributor that bad, it's a lot easier to just go get a decent PG to distribute the ball then, it's a lot harder to find another player to go with LeBron who has a killer instinct in the playoffs and can be trusted to make shots down the stretch when he's being more passive.

Talk about your mental illmess without talking about your mental illness.
I wonder what it would be like to have an unrelenting obsession with Luke Kornet.

It's cool to wait for time to pass and prove all your narrative correct... and this is a big one
It's already pretty solid that Lebron needed a champion in Wade to teach him how to win, but now he'll need a sidekick that makes the Finals without him to win as 1st option.. that's huge..
Kyrie making the Finals kills the goat debate for good ...

The seesaw in this postseason proves the merit of that perspective. Gobert’s impact isn’t cool or flashy, but it’s an impact nonetheless—and he’s unique because he’s the only player on his team who consistently wins his minutes every time he takes the floor.

“In eyes, I’m more like the odd guy from France that’s winning a lot of awards, and it can bother people,” Gobert told ESPN’s Tim MacMahon last month. “I impact the games in a very unique way. It’s maybe not as cool or not as flashy as some other guys, so it’s sometimes harder for them to respect that.”

I think the longer off-season would've helped the Bulls, longer layoff, more time to recover from the 98 ring. Regular season was always a joke, Jordan + Pippen together would've won more than enough games to make the playoffs and get a decent enough seed, maybe they would pace themselves a bit more in the regular season but that's it.

Minnesota also grabs more offensive rebounds and draws many more fouls with Gobert on the court—two more hidden advantages that are reflected best by the on/off data. Those attributes aren’t sexy, but they show up on the scoreboard all the same.
