Not a single one of his haters will reduce criticism of him if he makes it next year. That’s how it works. If he makes it and loses, he still a loser. We saw years of it with Chris Paul. Then he made it and absolutely no one gave a shit because it’s a ridiculous standard that doesn’t matter.

Improve his conditioning and/or limit his minutes. He hasn't been remotely healthy for a playoff run in forever now.

It all makes a difference. I’m not trying to watch teams built to feature players who arent available. I’ll generally watch it because it’s basketball but it’s just to pass the time.
I don’t have to think a team is going to win the title to want it to have All its all stars available when I turn the game on. The pelicans weren’t going to win...

He didn't have a team that could win 55 without him with 3 HOF's & the GOAT coach, and he wasn't playing teams in the Finals who's 2nd option was barely cracking 10 ppg.

All you need is an all-time turnaround jumper, triple-threat game, off-ball and mid-range touch and footwork... Being able to dominate without dribbling.. No screen roll action.

East Playoffs more boring than the WNBA
Look at the teams that Celtics team played against. No competition. Too many depleted teams. And the Celtics look like they've been sleepwalking for weeks now.

That election result was the most unexpected thing ever, many predicted Hillary winning the morning of the election.
But Hillary has nobody to blame but herself, she was an establishment candidate with the email scandal and had that fake annoying personality that couldn't really connect with the public.
Many people predicted her winning in...

Be All-time great start makes it tricky. Theres been a lot of better starts, but if we’re only talking about players who aren’t all-time great….
Dennis Johnson and his first seven years made at least three conference finals two finals won a ring and was finals MVP and was probably 4 or 5 times all D first team and made at least one all NBA...

I’m done hearing how much better this generation is than years past. I’m watching a 5 foot nothing HVAC technician have his way against a Celtics team who’s playoff net rating is in par with the likes of the 96 Bulls, 01 Lakers, and 17 Warriors. LOL.

All the greats didn't win until they were about 27. Tatum is far ahead of the curve.

The attention spans of kids nowadays is so short I doubt they'd even watch a 13 minute highlight video of Michael Jordan or Larry Bird.

And he's only 25. Must be the best start for a non all time great franchise player?
For example, even an ATG like Hakeem made only 1 conference finals and 1 finals in his first 7 years.

One thing for sure. They’re about to be the only finals team I don’t remember a single play of. I saw a replay of Browns three, but I didn’t watch much of that game. Largely for injury reasons there has been no reason to pay attention to any series they have been in. If the heat bucks, Knicks or even Cavs were healthy, maybe we would be having a...

You got the script? They're champs already?
Also, all your points can be disproven if they win the Finals.
They'd beat a good Mavericks team.
Tatum could play really well and win FMVP averaging something like 28/10/7.
Jaylen is also more a 1B option than a 2nd option. He probably gets the ECF MVP is they beat the Pacers.

Seems many of them don't know or care what a "goat" is. They just say who their favorite players are.
Fair enough cause most of them are not nerds who take these things too seriously.

It's just the fact that they have had the easiest path to the finals of my memory. They will have to earn it in the finals, but it's not like the Mavs are some historical team either. They were like 30/1 to win it once the playoffs start. With Lively being hurt now, who knows.
Boston will win, they're absolutely an awful matchup for the Mavs....
