House of Sand and Fog

Anyone here seen this movie? My girl convinced me to watch this and it might just be one of the most powerful yet depressing movies I've ever seen. Really tugs at the heartstrings and makes you reflect on society today.

Its a despondent film, but filled with stellar acting performances...

It is a novel, then someone made a film relating to its content

Ben Kingsley has become the most underrated of the most underrated of the truely great actors. His oscar came what, 25 years ago. And the guy is consistently great in all sorts of roles.

I recommend Transsiberian, which I may be one of eleven people to have seen.

Sexy Beast, The Wackness. The guy's been all over the place character wise.

It sort of feels like a what a Hitchcock movie would be if he were making movies now.
