Kosta - Center or Forward?
He didn't measure in at the draft combine. Best I could do was find this:,00.html
Knight is 5' 9.5" barefoot from his combine measurement.

He is commonly listed at 7'. I wonder what his wingspan is. Weights have been 265, and 212 (young).
Fun old highlight reel from a FIBA tourny. He likes the right hook and the elbow banks shot. He might be able to block shots.
check out his footwork.

Re: Kosta - Center or Forward?
He's both. He is more suited to PF right now. He is good enough to start at the 4 from what I seen. Better suited as a back-up at the 5 where guys aren't as big generally.

Re: Kosta - Center or Forward?
Hes got the offensive skills, better suited to the center position, and is easily tall enough to be a center. So, hes a center. He looks a little taller than Okur. I really think hes easily a starting center within the next 2-4 years.

He's better than Okur now but he's more suited to PF til he gets stronger.

Re: Kosta - Center or Forward?

He's a player as anyone that was paying attention at the beginning of his rookie year would have seen of when he shut down Bynum for a quarter in the playoffs or other times when he got the chance to play. Minnesota with one of the biggest heists ever!

Re: Kosta - Center or Forward?
Hopefully he improves so my starting center post doesn't like quite as idiotic lol. He did look great his rookie season though. He just kind of disappeared afterward...

Re: Kosta - Center or Forward?
Sloan benched him behind Collins and Fessenko for some reason? I know his love of the vet Collins but Fessenko I'll never understand. Sounds like he lost his confidence and finally in Denver someone sees the obvious skills he has. Still only 22. Bright future ahead.

Re: Kosta - Center or Forward?
Denver had a few of their players against the Jazz in the finale last year and he played really well. I was impressed. But to be fair he was pretty awful in the chances he did have, but did not get enough time. I would rather give him minutes over Chris Anderson...

Re: Kosta - Center or Forward?
Did you see him at the beginning of his rookie year when Collins, Boozer, maybe AK were down and he was playing for the first couple months or so? He was very impressive in every aspect of the game. Only thing I thought he was missing was some more muscle and experience and even when I saw Ilguauskas pushing him around he still went at him hard.

After that the one game I saw him play meaningful minutes for them was against the Lakers in the playoffs(his last game probably?) when he shut down Bynum for a quarter and didn't play the second half. Than the next game the Lakers whole front line went for a double double with him back at the end of the bench. He could have helped on Gasol and Odom as well. Made no sense. They had someone who could obviously help them and he was benched. I saw him give some nice minutes in Minnesota too before Karl finally seemed to realize what the could do. He was just a throw in and they're going to reap the benefits for a long time I'm sure. The coaches in the article seem to see what I saw.

Still can't imagine why Fessenko moved ahead of him. And than when he was traded and everyone was applauding the steal for Koufos and two first round picks. Jazz would have been better with him at center than Jefferson not to mention the picks and trade exemption the wasted. They could have drafted their pg this year. Horrible trade!
