The Americans also announced Wednesday that Portland guard Jerryd Bayless withdrew because he injured his left wrist during the NBA's summer league.

McGee earned an invite after averaging 17.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and a league-best 4.0 blocks during four summer league games.

The players will practice Thursday and Friday before playing an intrasquad exhibition game Saturday night.

McGee is really turning heads this offseason...
