this is becoming the best statistical year of Brett Favre's career...

right now he has the best passer rating in the NFL with a 107.5

he has 17 TDs and JUST 3 INTs !!!

BRETT FREAKIN FARVE...has less INTs than EVERY STARTING QB IN THE NFL!!!

his best was in 1995 he had a rating of 99.5 with 38 TDs, and 13 INTs

I always used to argue that Favre is amazingly overrated, i even kept him out of top 10 lists...there is just no way I can do that now, and it is because of this year alone...

he might completely fall apart in the post season...but as of right now, holy sh*t...I can't believe it...

Yeah it's going to be interesting to see how he holds up in the last quarter of the season though and of course the playoffs. I'd bet he won't be anywhere near spectacular.

Why would you bet that? Because of how terribly he's played this year?

Please...

Some people want him to fail.

This is true. I personally still love watching Farve just as much as I did years ago.

Farve has been great. I have a feeling it will last even into the post-season. He doesn't have to win games with his arm. Having Adrian Peterson there to hand off to and playing in a dome has been good for Farve.

today:

22/25

213 yards

0 INTs

^^^

I can't believe that is 40 year old Brett Favre...

I think he has a definate case for being the MVP this year...

Who would you rather see Dallas play in the NFC championship game?

Minnesota or New Orleans?

Obviously we would match up better against Minnesota... right?

We play the Saints on the road... so we will find out.

both teams scare me...

Dallas has a good history against Favre though...

I don't know, I wouldn't really feel good about either one, if I had o pick, I guess I would rather play the Saints...they almost lost the the Panthers and have shown it is possible to beat them...

Favre has NO case for MVP. Is he a candidate for 3rd in the voting right now? Sure. But he's no legit contender (as in having a real chance) for MVP as of week 11.

I was about to say that we would do better against Minnesota.... but then I remembered that they have a good Defensive Line.

Jarred Allen vs. Doug Free?

Their defensive Tackles would stop our running game.

We would have to depend on our WRs to win the game.

And can we stop Peterson?

New Orleans vs Dallas is a game we will get to see.

dude he is killing both Brees and Peyton number wise...

He has about 2500 yards, 21 TD's and a ridiculous 3 INTS while completing nearly 70% of his passes.

He's made Berrian, Harvin and Rice good by himself.

He's on pace for like 4000 yards, 31-32 TD's and 5 INTs.

and he has his name value..."BRETT FAVRE" <--- that will get him votes

I really don't see how he isn't in the arguement...I guess it does help him a ton that Peterson takes up the defense's attention, but he is clearly playing out of his mind right now...

Re: this is becoming the best statistical year of Brett Favre's career...

He's killing them in numbers? Peyton is probably going to finish the year with close to 5000/35 and Favre is killing that? Brees will probably end up with 4500/35-40. You're an idiot if you think Brett and his potential numbers will "kill" those of Brees/Manning. Honestly.

Don't ever say that again. You're completely underselling not only the wideouts, but the line and especially the impact Peterson has.

Sidney has proven he's a "go get it" guy and has made lots of those catches. Harvin is one of the most dynamic guys in the league and Berrian is fast. He's not turning chicken **** into chicken salad, as Simmons would say.

Oh yeah, they got that guy Peterson, too....maybe the best player in the league.

His name value shouldn't get him first place votes either. Why would it when just as big of a name is leading the way in Manning?

Like I said, he's in the argument for third place. Nothing more.

Re: this is becoming the best statistical year of Brett Favre's career...

honestly if the season ended right now I think they would do 3-way co-MVP thing...

but yeah, it is always the best player on the best team, and with the Colts and Saints both undefeated, it is impossible to not recognise them...

it is gonna come down to who's team does the best, but I do see a strong possibility of co-MVPs this year...

Sidney is awesome, no question, but the other two I do think are just the result of Favre nailing them in the chest moreso than themselves...

It's all in the last 4-6 games..depends if he's body's gonna hold up..last season he was terrible against mediocre teams with the Jets at the end of the season.

THIS is the most surprising part of it. Maybe he realizes he doesn't have to force it and be a gambler like he always has been. Vikings running game>>>>>Vikings passing game. Has Favre really ever had a dominant running game like this?

And this is coming from an anti-Favre guy. I don't hate him, but I don't worship is feet like 75% of America.
