Monta Ellis hates being taken out, even with foul trouble
Keith Smart took Monta Ellis out after committing his fifth foul early in the fourth quarter, and the Warriors up 92-78. When Ellis returned with under two minutes remaining, the lead was down to four. ďI donít like it,Ē Ellis responded, when asked about sitting much of the fourth quarter. ďI donít like it. At all.Ē When Ellis was asked if it was tough for him to watch the Warriors lead dwindle, he said: ďCímon, man. It was very hard to watch. Thatís what I do. I play basketball. Time on the bench means Ellis can't pad his scoring stats is what he doesn't like. The Pistons already started their comeback with Ellis in the game. They were up 32 at a half time which means they've already trimmed 18 points off the lead.
