that's just a normal "no easy baskets" foul at the park except he got dunked on. :lol

I disagree. If someone did that at the park, a fight would immediately break out, because it's a dangerous foul

I missed WHY he did this.

He was defending a teammate right?
Could this be seen just as a Pitcher dinging a batter in baseball to send a message?

Is B-ball really that soft now?

I remember McHale clotheslining Rambis in the Finals back in the day...that was just TOUGH b-ball.

It was a really bad foul because he was already in the air when Brand went over to foul him. He made no play for the ball, and really altered him in mid air. Very dangerous foul, good suspension.

i think the way mcgee fell made it seem more dangerous. but normally at the park, guys aren't dunking off no step from under the basket. they're just layups and not too aerial, and a push here and there is pretty common. but most hacks are to the arm or backside so maybe they're easier to take than straight to the chest. but guys probably wouldn't fall like that at the park since they're not getting up that high anyway. if mcgee landed on his feet, i don't think there's any suspension. it looked pretty bad here because he fell straight down.

Been like this for some time now, but still was a dangerous foul

Not much diferent from Harris on Griffin...
Both dangerous!

Was different to Harris foul IMO, Harris tried to do the usual 'stop the fast break dunk' and misjudged, Brand ran over and just shoved a guy in mid air.

if you keep watching it, youl notice Brand ran towards McGee, he wasn't even close to him and made an effort to run there just to push him- dirty foul

Totally filthy foul. Harris' was still a basketball play and he got Griffin before he took off. Suspension well deserved.

And yet Devin Harris wasn't suspended for what he did to Blake? That foul was far worse than this one. Griffin was in plyometric motion, ready to explode and his whole body was under much pressure. Changing that motion could have caused much more serious damage than this.
