“Unfortunately, Brandon Roy’s condition has not significantly improved and we’ve decided to hold him out indefinitely,” said Cho. “In the short term, we’re going to proceed with an extended period of rest. Beyond that, we’re looking at all available treatment options to help better determine a course of action.”

Roy, 26, has missed nine games this season (three games from Nov. 16-20 and the last six games beginning on Dec. 17) with a sore left knee.

Roy was on pace to being one of the best SGs in the game. It's all disappearing now. Sad ... Penny Hardaway, Grant Hill type situation going on right here. Poor Portland fans.

Man..hearing this just sucks , why can't just everyone be healthy for at least 1 season going into the playoffs.. I just wanted to see what we could do :cry:

I love the Blazers. I thought they were okay without Oden, but now Roy? This sinks the ship definitely. I feel bad for coach Mcmillan, he's actually a very good coach with a fractioned team.

Sucks. Great player, but it's not exactly surprising.

There were concerns about his knees dating back to the time he was drafted.
