Brook Lopez has surgery on right arm

“Brook was bothered this year by a bony lump that developed after he was hit in the arm early this year,” said Dr. Williams. “The mass was successfully removed today. A full recovery is expected, and Brook should be able to return to basketball activities in approximately six weeks.”

The Nets should be dangerous next season.

Lopez "top 5 center"
Humphries
Outlaw
Morrow
Dwill "top 3 PG"

He can always use this as an excuse to why he was such a weak rebounder.

What exactly is feared about that team??? Lopez top 5 because Center position is weak. He's not anchoring a defense nor is he a great rebounder. D.Will is the best talent on that team. The other 3 really arent even legit starters, but starters by default. Pretty dangerous tho. Get real.

May kill a Howard trade. It wasn't a good deal for ORlando to begin with, but with him injured, it's even worse.

Deron and CP3 are the best point guards. Rose can't hang with them dishing.

It's six weeks before he can start anything basketball related. That's not a positive. You want them to send Howard to the Nets for a package centered around a player who was sick all last offseason and will spend this offseason rehabbing the removal of a growth on his arm?

its not ideal.

Not ideal, but still not that serious. 6 weeks is just 1.5 months, before the draft. He'll be fine.

Humphries is not a starter by default. Maybe 2 years ago he may have been. Not anymore. The nets have plenty of ways to improve this offseason. We'll see what billy does.

Thats actually a Nice Line-up with the exception of Outlaw. We all know Deron is a Star and Lopez is Great. Lopez cant get a rebound, then no problem Hump will get them. And Morrow has deadly offense and a great 3 point shooter.

Re: Brook Lopez has surgery on right arm

*SMH* at the criticism on humphries and lopez. yet what is the point of responding to such BS, since rational arguments are pretty-much pointless at ISH (and most other webforums) today?

you know what would be cool? what would be cool is having a basketball forums to post at that wasn't filled with rubbish, ignorance and immature knuckleheads looking for cheap thrills and/or to vent their loose testosterone.

nothing against the nets fans here, either. this is a quiet section, but at least we have good posters. but more and more, wading through the NBA and OTC sections to find an interesting post is like trudging through a field of toxic waste in the hopes of finding a gold nugget. in other words, almost completely pointless.

jeff- you or one of your admins decided to send us this crappy thread because it seemed to be nets-related. well, it's not. the theme is "bullshit," and i say, send it back to where it came from.
