JaJuan Johnson

Any insights guys?

Based on what I read, Doc and Ainge were both surprised when the kid is still up for grab on the 27th.

Seemed like he's also a poster here or maybe he's just lurking around because he's following ISH twitter also :lol

He's a good inside/out player for just about any offense, but he's going to have to get tougher and more willing to play in the paint. Defense is also a concern. Garnett will probably scare him into being tougher.

Based on the highlights I've seen, his body seemed like nba ready also. Maybe just add up some muscle and he'll be okey on the paint.

Re: JaJuan Johnson

He came to Purdue when I was a Junior. I saw him play his first two years at Purdue and the man has drastically improved each and every year. He was really raw as a freshman, and was mostly a defensive player, but his offense became very polished. The team was suppose to be Hummel and Moore's, but when Hummel became injured, JJ stepped up big time. He also played great in this years tournament.

He's the real deal, I can see him being an above-average starter for many many years. He just needs to put on weight.

he is 6-11 , very skilled, athletic, put up 20 ppg in the best conference in college bb. I think he is a taller taj gibson.
