John Wall struggling in 2011-12, finally has big game
The biggest disappointments in fantasy hoops so far: Brook Lopez, Manu Ginobili, Zach Randolph, Al Horford and John Wall. The first four got hurt. Wall, on the other hand, has put up excruciatingly bad numbers.
On Monday, though, fantasy owners finally got a big game from someone they expect to be a franchise cornerstone. Wall was simply unstoppable against the Houston Rockets. He racked up a career-high 38 points while going 13-for-22 from the floor (59.1 percent). It was the first time all season he'd topped 46.2 percent shooting in a game. Wall also handed out eight assists, grabbed six boards and added four steals and a block, and registered just two turnovers.
It's kind of scary to think that, even with this performance, the 1-12 Washington Wizards still lost to the Rockets. Scarier still were Wall's numbers going into Monday: 13.3 points per game, 34.8 percent shooting and 4.2 turnovers per game.

Finally, he made me regret drafting him less. Houston game was a good match up for him though, lots of fast break lay ups, the fact that he did not even attempt a 3 tells you much.
