Austin Rivers Will Declare for the NBA Draft

He will hire an agent as well.

Just heard it on The Dan Patrick Show.

Why would he want to enter early?

I'm shocked his Dad would allow this. He needs another year.

Agreed. An incredibly poor decision. I would have thought he'd have the kind of people around him that would tell him he needs more time. Maybe Doc's like most parents with an inflated view of their kids.

Well he should stay for another year or two, seriously. The only thing impressive about him is the fact that he has the surname Rivers, at least for now.

I think his impact will be similar to Kevin Martin. Not in style of play (of course) but in that he can get 20+ ppg with his eyes closed yet do you go into a game fearing Kevin Martin? He'll get you points and that's it.

That's pretty much spot on. Maybe Monta Ellis if everything falls right.

Reddick's turned into a pretty solid role player. Not fair to put him in the same sentence as Langdon.
