Randy Foye

what do you Rockets fans think of landing Randy Foye with the #8 in the draft?

He seems like a great talent, but he also seems to almost be a duplicate of Luther Head. He's a little short to be a 2-guard, and doesn't seem to have the skill set of the prototypical point. I think we can get somebody who fits better with the team, although he will be a good player in the league.

Randy Foye is a good point guard. I have him as my top point guard in the draft. Marcus Williams may have the ideal size and appear to be the more natural point guard, but Foye is mature, which is something Marcus really isn't yet. Foye's a better scorer. Houston could really use a player like Randy Foye.

He is a great player with good handling skills but personally i would go after redick with the number 8 pick he would really open up the court and make the game a lot easier for the rest of the team.

I've warmed up to this guy a lot over the last week. Mainly because SO MANY NBA types are so high on him. Too many teams like him for him to not be worth it.

He is very similar to Luther Head, but likely better.

I hear about this #8 and Luther Head for #6 trade with Minnesota. I'd do the trade if Minny gave us Trenton Hassell back. I'd give #8, Luther, and a future 2nd rounder (not #32) for #6 and Trenton Hassell. But then again, Minny would be doing that trade to draft Foye (so they say) so I don't know.
