Practically worthless? Prototypes of worth about 10x more than the original product, more depending on the product.

Take the iPhone 4 prototype for example. Being sold at over $5000. Just because it's the prototype. If you get the new Lebron's, you can easily sell them for $1,500 - $3,000. There are idiots dumb enough to have bidding wars over it.
