Touch Passing

Any tips/ ways to practice this technique? I mean not like ez-pz ones on 2 or 3 on 1 fastbreaks but in halfcourt sets when you want to catch the defense off guard.

The more difficult a touch pass, the less likely someone is to handle it or finish.

Streetball application: don't do touch passes unless you want a turnover lol

As for organized play, it's all about knowing where your team is before you get the pass. You have to be two steps ahead instead of one.

keep your head up and know where everyone is on the court

touch passes are made by the passer knowing/expecting the receiver to be there, but the receiver must always be ready as well or else its a touch turnover lol

when running through your sets in practice try to memorize the other positions roles as well and your passing and IQ will sharpen no doubt,

be a student of the game

Play volleyball with one of your friends. Not at a court but just tipping the ball to each other. Start with a volleyball(smaller and lighter than a basketball), then take a soccer ball(nearly same size, but less weight) and then start doing it with a basketball.

Do it during practices and shoot arounds, if you're at a ballpark, so you're teammates aren't surprised.
