knicks losing lin= biggest overreaction in sports history?

ESPN and the rest of the sports world made it seem like we were letting jesus shuttlesworth walk away. Felton has been JUST AS GOOD and fits this team better than lin. Lin would have been horrible in a non-dantoni system. This team with felton/kidd are so much better off its not even funny.

Yes.

Felton is about the same as Lin offensively, and a better defender.

Agreed. Felton is better than Lin.

Felton is better than Lin. And even if he isn't he's still a much better fit for this Knicks team and is also 3 times cheaper than Lin.

Lin is mediocre at best, as a Rocket fan I'm not happy at all how this turned out..

Lol no shit letting Lin walk for that amount of money was the right move. Only your regular brainless Knick haters were bashing the Knicks for the move, any one with real basketball sense knew that Lin is ridiculously overrated. And I'm still waiting for these millions of dollars from China to appear for the Rockets :lol

Hardly anyone overracted to it; more like people thought that the Rockets were crazy to give him that contract...

how do you know the teams are better off with felton than lin. knicks were 7-1 when lin and melo played together under woodson. Kidd was coming regardless of whether they keep Lin or not.

THere is no statistic evidence that supports your claim. Lin is putting up better number this season than felton too.

Never was a fan of Lin and knew he was going to be overpaid. So New York made the right move

Nah, Linsanity was the biggest overreaction in sports history. Chalmers, Cole, and the Heat should have deaded it but it lives on.

No, he isn't.

Felton: 12.3/6.8/.404/2.8TO
Lin: 13.4/6.2/.383/3.2TO

Its pretty much a statistical wash. On the floor, though, Felton is playing miles better than Lin. If you've watched Houston's games at all, you'll see that to cut down on his turnovers, McHale has pretty much turned Lin into the "bring the ball up the court and hand it off" guy.

Lin isn't doing squat to get his team into a good flow. When pressure is put on him, like Bayless being up in his grill last night, the ball comes out like popcorn off a hot plate.
