Re: Best back ups for each position?

Once Camby gets back into it i'd prefer him over McGee as a back up C THIS season.

Smith is on par for the best backup SG with Crawford, not scoring as many points, but doing a bit more for the team across the board.

Crawford
20.3ppg / 1.9rpg / 1.1apg / 1.29spg / 50FG% / 41.5%3PT

Smith
17.5ppg / 5rpg / 3.3apg / 2.25spg / 45.6FG% / 68.8%3PT

Smith plays 34mpg...that is starter minutes. You can hardly call someone who plays that much a back up.

Re: Best back ups for each position?

If McGee is going to be a 6th man all year, then he's gonna be up for heavy consideration. I wouldn't be surprised if he's starting before the end of the year.

Spencer Hawes, if he doesn't get traded, is clearly too good and too young to be a backup..but we'll see.

Favors is a good call. Chuck Hayes is also worth talking up (if he's a PF)...lol, maybe Amare, we'll see. Jamison is also likely to be up there.
