Twitter family - Phil finally gave me that ring I wanted! :-) http://twitpic.com/bs8xc5

What do yall think of this news?

Jim Buss must be not excited about this...as his coup has been countered once again by Zen master. I think this would allow Phil to become legit owner? And possibly another seat to keep Jim in balance? Or long feud to come from within the family... Or revenge of the fallen?

I don't think Jerry will leave that nitwit son Jimmy in charge of the team when he dies......look for Jeanie and Phil to carry the Lakers legacy into the future......I think Jerry felt he had to give Jimmy the opportunity to fail....and boy has he failed :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm

Apparently this was going to happen had phil retired forever. As long as he was coaching, they wouldn't become officially engaged.

Happy for Phil and for Jeanie, although relationships with those huge gaps in age always leave me curious. Regardless, it is not mine to judge.

My God....

I also started understanding more of this after it said "Saudi Arabia". I got absolutely no respect for that culture or their primitive ways.

With all that being said, may they learn from Phil and Jeanie lol!

24 doses of Viagra daily should solve the problem?

I heard an interview on the radio last weekend with Joe MacDonald where he claimed that Jerry Buss made the final decision in regards to hiring Mike D'Antoni. Interesting.

Are you sure? From what I heard, it was Jerry that fired Mike Brown. I didn't know that it was the hiring as well.
