Brook Lopez to replace Rondo in the All-Star game!

NBA Commissioner David Stern has named Brook Lopez to the Eastern Conference All-Star Team, replacing Rajon Rondo who tore his ACL Sunday.

For Lopez, it will be his first All-Star appearance. For the Nets, he is the 13th Net selected and the first Brooklyn Net.

Lopez has been leading NBA centers in scoring for most of the season and has been in the top five of the Player Efficiency Ratings as well.

anyway, glad that there was one nice nets-related thing to happen today. the NBA was looking like.... (fill in the blank).... up until just now. :/
