I was originally a dry and uninteresting dork.

I started clueless in 2003

became rather annoying since I insisted on writing in extremely eloquent language, almost as if I were condescending to other posters here (not the case) and spewed some anti-Left sentiments which people disliked.

now I am a more knowledgeable Nets fan who knows the ins and outs of the Nets.

some people like to read what I write.

some people hate to read what I write.

others are indifferent.

Re: Your evolution as a poster

I rarely get involved with game discussions. I let the longtime posters here break down the x's and o's. I learn stuff from them, and watch the games to see if what they are discussing is what is actually going on. Some of these guys here are smarter than the ESPN guys. I can recognize team styles of play, and I know basic terminology, but that is about it. I have always been more fascinated with the psychology of the game. That is, what goes on inside the heads of players/coaches. The human aspect of the game. It's like, there is this ideal for what a basketball player should be, and the never-ending chase for that level of perfection is what fascinates me. It never stops. Basketball is cyclical. It's almost maddening at times, but maybe that's the beauty. A team wins the championship, enjoys it briefly, then it's back to work. How will they adjust to being the "hunted" instead of the "hunter?" How will teams that consistently fall short adjust? What teams are on the rise? Also, listening to what the players say is fascinating. I believe that half of what is said is a total decoy. Picking out the truth is fun to do.

In essence, these are the things that I like to discuss. Psychology fascinates me just as much as basketball.

One more thing, I actually know some of the posters on here now, and pick up on their styles and such. Before, I had no clue who any of ya'll were

Started off posing as Sword.Dragons, posted a little like Baller when i started off, made a couple guys pissed off. To be honest, I was just really eager to get involved in conversations.

Now, I try to post more seriously, without bias, and with detail every time I post now.
