What will Damon's role be this season? Will he be more of a player coach/mentor to Conley and Lowry?

Yes, I believe he will become a mentor to Conley and Lowry. Both Conley and Lowry seem to be scoring PG's which is exactly what Damon was when he was younger, so coaching them should alot easier for him. I don think that Damon will get a few starts at the beginning of the season but not many and that's when I see Conley and Lowry taking over.

I don't really think there scoring guards.Maybe lowry over conley.Lowry is a bullgog and is highly aggressive.While conley uses his speed to cause problems on defenses,then he finds the open man for the right play.Damon will play still but will be more of a locker room coach.

I agree with everything that you said except that Conley isn't really a scoring guard. He is more of a pass first and looks to get teammates involved. Then he looks to score. At least from what I have seen from him.

Like I said before I look at damon as a guy like avery johnson.Brought back just to help mentor.

Is the Mighty Mouse available via trade? I mean, with the drafting of Conley Jr. and Lowry being healthy, what'll it take for a team to snatch up Damon

I was reading from another site that Mighty Mouse is hoping to get sent to another team, a winning when he was at a basketball tournament Sunday.

Yup so that bites.I was hoping he could be like a mentor for these new guys.He is really the only vet on the squad.

It would be nice if Damon stays teaching the youngers, but getting a center in return for him will help the team a lot.

Man I really wanted him to be around.He is the only actual vet on the team.

Yeah, I would prefer Damon to stay, but I don't think having him upset would be good for the team. Seems he is not willing to teach anybody, and using his own words, go to a winning team cos he is fed up of the continuous rebuilding. I can understand him, since he only have a couple of years more in the league.

I would like to know what Wallace and Iavaroni think about the issue. Are there any news there in Memphis?

No none yet.The news hasnt really been an issue.But maybe we cand get cash and a pick.Or maybe like a late first rounder for him.

I dont really agree with that.He can shoot.But he is a great floor general,and leader.
