Gaming hardships
When I was a freshman in college I had a little sh!tty 13 inch black and white tv. I had to play the great Final Fantasy IV on it. Not the best gaming experience, but if I wanted to play I had no other choice.
Another time I was desperate to have a new game. There's was nothing good out and I ended buying crappy Mystic Defender. :banghead: |

I like Mystic Defender… Back in my youth, I didn't have much cash and would sell off games to afford new ones. Now I'm older, and back around 1999 I started to collect games and rebuild my collection of games I once had. I sold off many games but never sold my consoles. Also I never sold off my Turbo Grafx/Duo and Sega Master games… I had a hard enough time getting them when they were new. |
Re: Gaming hardships
Not really a hardship, but more of a nuisance......I used to own at Atari 2600's Demon Attack. A game in the style of Phoenix/Galaga. As some of you know, the Atari didn't have a pause button. So I had to build many lives just to be able to go take a piss! I would make it back in the nick of time before all my lives were destroyed!

Re: Gaming hardships
Had to play an Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 tournament last week(on the Nintendo DS) without blocking or running. (The L and R shoulder buttons suddenly crapped out on me the day before:banghead: .) Got knocked out in the second round, sent my DS back to Nintendo the day after for repairs. Still waiting for it.
