Is it a snub though? They lost their top player. Celtics won't be on Christmas either for the same reason.

Surprised they didn't go with Mavs/Lakers.

    Not a bad lineup tbh.

They don't even want to put Philly on Christmas in case Embiid isn't playing.

They always have the Knicks as the first game on Christmas, or at least have for years, so if they wanted an Eastern matchup, that's about as good as you're going to get.

I think the schedule's pretty good, I would've just altered it a little bit

Cavs-Knicks; two best teams in the conference

Clippers-OKC; defending champs vs. rebuilt Clips

    Lakers-Mavs; no explanation needed

Rockets-Warriors; KD on his new team vs. Curry and his old one

Wolves-Nuggets; shaping up as one of the best rivalries in the league between two perennial contenders

I honestly don't know how they didn't schedule Lakers-Mavs, they really fvcked up on that one

Exactly. And I was also thinking they should have went with Rockets-Warriors for the same reasons, but the Mavs/Lakers is the most 'how did you fukk that up' one.

    I would have gone:

Cavs at Knicks ( best two teams with Haliburton out for Pacers)
Warriors at Rockets ( Durant vs Steph matchup)
Wolves at Spurs (Antman vs Wemby)
Nuggets at OKC ( matchup of the most recent MVPs)
Mavs at Lakers ( no explanation needed)

Entire east gets to spend Christmas with family, meanwhile West fighting for its life again.

I'm sure they're heartbroken about getting Christmas day off.
