I thought this was posted already... anyway, I do think there is room for him in the rotation. The deeper the better, and he brings some defensive skills with his length that VladRad and Luke just don't have. The Lakers do need him back for the playoffs, IMO.
The good thing about having Vlad, Walton, and Ariza on the bench is that they all have different strenghs, so in any game any one could become very useful.
If the Lakers ever get everyone healthy, their bench is going to be sick!
We really do need him and his defense, if he and Bynum come back strong we wil win it all!!!!
I agree. I for one always believed that Ariza was a better player to have than turiaf if you want an energy guy.
Ariza does such a great job of getting to the line, finishing, hustling, getting us extra possessions, and making it tougher for other small forwards with his length.
The Lakers are doing just fine right now. With the team not at 100% and they have been winning the way they have, that is what any sports fan wants, as long as everybody is good (Kobe definately won't be 100% but...) then it doesn't matter. If Ariza is comfortable in whatever spot he is in come playoff time that makes the Lakers even more dangerous.
