Default So wait... is Roko Ukic really gonna play for the Raptors this coming season?

The salary obligations for the 10 players who'll be under contract when Calderon and Roko Ukic sign along with the cap hit caused by the Garbajosa buyout will be about $67 million (all figures U.S.) for the Raptors. And because the tax level won't be known until the first week of July, it's impossible to say for sure how much wiggle room they'll have before they bump up against that number but an educated guess puts the threshold at about $72 million, leaving $5 million to spend on filling out the roster.

Yes, apparently they worked out a deal earlier in the season, and it's fairly definitive.

And I don't know where Doug Smith got his numbers from, because the Raps shouldn't be at 67. That's not to say that they'll necessarily use the MLE, but still. Doug is known for not exactly having the best math skills. Depending on how much Jose gets, and how much the team saved on the Garbo buyout, we should be at around 62 or so/.

He already signed a contract with the Toronto Raptors last month.

A lot of NBA fans here insist that only players that can't make it in the nba play in europe.well this is a clear example of the contrary!Ukic has played in TAU,Barca,Roma etc basically 4 teams in 4 years and has not been able to break into any of them.
