Unprofessional? A little bit, but it's not as extreme as this writer and other posters are making it. How many of us really read what every superstar says after games?

To me, it's like the one person in the office who makes popcorn everyday. It loud and makes the office stink, but you know what? Even as annoying as it may be, it shouldn't and doesn't stop business from being done and people from doing their jobs.

If Gilbert doesn't want to talk to the media, oh well I say. It may come off as somewhat attention-whoring, but talking and fussing over it is only feeding into it more.

What a stupid article. If it was any other player in the League, nobody would even care. But because its Gilbert Arenas, suddenly not talking to the media is a bad thing.

Shame. Arenas talks, he gets crap. Arenas doesnt talk, he still gets crap. Haters. Just haters.

Good lord what a dumb ass article. This smacks of a lazy ass writer who is now all butt hurt that he can't write lazy articles on what crazy Gilbo says.

Weak, weak sauce.

Speaking to the media is all a bunch of BS anyway...

No one gives meaningful, or insightful, answers. I mean, the media asks the same stupid question over and over again "so, tell me about the game tonight.. what helped your team win?" wtf? We played better than they did. End. Of. Story. Seriously, come up with an original question, THEN come talk to me.

Also, fining players for choosing to not put up with that BS is retarded. We, the customer, don't want to listen to someone that is forced to talk. Get rid of the fine; the players with interesting sound bytes will still want to talk to the media, and we will thus still get our sound byte. The ones that could care less, and just want their play to speak for itself and not deal with the BS questions that are asked can have it their way.

I say take away the fine, and the mandate to speak to the media until the media can ask some thoughtful questions. Until your question is thoughtful, why should you expect a thoughtful response?

Agent Zero is not a superstar despite what his annual salary would have you think.

Lol, media is gettin pissed since hes not giving interviews. Hes actually doing quite the opposite, showing self control by not getting into any stupid distractions, though its really pointless.

GA is a superstar. Kobe was still a Superstar when he couldn't make it out of the first round in 06 and 07. MJ was a superstar in 87 and he has still yet to get out of the first round. GTFO.
