Boozer is ave a low 47% from the field this season and last year with 16 pts and 10 rebs. Last year was Milsaps breakthrough season with 13.5 pts, 8.6 rebs with a better FG of 53.4%, enough to impress the Trail Blazers to offer a pretty good contract. I understand that Carlos is a much better offensive player etc, but his contract is now relatively costly as compared to Paul.

They have affected Boozers game by expressing that they really don't want him.....that along with injuries have brought his numbers down.........even with that he is better than Milsap. I see Boozer as a number 2 guy and Milsap as a number 4 or 5 guy. Boozer is getting only 2 million more than Milsap this season.........the REAL Jazz Killer is Kirilenko's contract which pays him like 16.5 million this season and almost 18 million next season.....WOW!!!!

Where are you getting your numbers? According to the site that GTS shared, Milsap is getting 7+ Mil as compared to Boozer's 12 Mil. That's roughly 5 Million difference for a guy scoring 3 pts less.
Again im not saying Milsap is on par with Boozer but that 5 Million difference makes any GM really analyze about their prized allstar.

The Jazz were baited into signing Milsap to that contract by the Blazers. When the Blazers made the offer, the Jazz should have made them eat it, which would have made the Boozer situation much better.

I think the Blazers really wanted Milsap. Have you seen the numbers Aldridge has put up so far? I picked him up on my fantasy team thinking he would have a huge season and was I ever wrong. He's not doing much this year. I think he needs someone behind him that could take some time away from him, giving him a little motivation to pick his game up.

Milsap has a very odd contract which pays him 10.3 million this season, drops to 6.2 million then up to 6.7 and 7.2 in the final year....the site you looked at just averaged out the salary over the term without the actual specifics.
The moderators do not like info given out on competing sites so I cannot post it on here but if you want the most accurate source PM me...ok.

Or go to NBA site player page and type in Utah matches offer and you'll see that his deal included 10.3 million 1st year.

GTS is the GURU of the CBA but I'm the guy when it comes to salaries.
