Default Weak draft?

It seem every team who have a top 10 pick (maybe more top 15) are ready to trade their pick with one of their big contract.

Wolves, Pacers, Warriors, Sixers... why they all want to trade their pick?

It takes a lot to judge a draft class. Way more than any of us can give to it. But, watching draft picks move might be a good indication that (1) its not a stellar draft class, or else (2) teams are more excited about free agency and their salary cap than they are about the draft. I think both play into this here.

the reverse can also be said op...there are a lot of teams trying to buy into the draft class by trading their players to get a high pick --so essentially it may be stronger than anyone thinks...it goes both ways

It's impossible to tell until it's over. Last year's draft was supposed to be historically bad aside from Griffin and Rubio and it wound up being very good. Ditto for 2008. Even if it's as bad as 2006, you can still get an all-star with a top ten pick (Roy was something like 7th).

Good point. But I think that draft movement is more of an indication of a weak draft than a strong one because it is easier to keep a status quo than to change it up. But you're still on point here.
