No it looks like he's been pretty bad in his two other stints and he got quite a bit of time in Miami but they were a few years ago. Pop said good things about him and he's been a top guy in the D-league. Might just need the right team. At 28 he should be in his prime. Can shoot. They need that. He will probably get a chance with all the inuries now too.

Kendall Marshall or Damian Lillard would be a good fit at PG for the Jazz.

If the Jazz miss the playoffs and keep their own pick there's a chance they could score one of the two.

Chances look pretty high that not only do they keep their two picks but that those guys will be available based on mock drafts. They only need one pick as far as I'm concerned with the other young guys they have so they better move up if they have to. Suppsedly they have talked to GS about trading the pick to them even if GS finishes out of top 7.

Better in the Jazz system? Everybody on ISH just rated George ahead of Hayward who the Jazz drafted ahead of George. I doubt George would be as good as G in the Jazz system though.

Marshall sounds most like a Jazz type of pg. Lillard doesn't but they like local guys and they need a shooter. But who knows Corbin might be able to think outside the box more than Sloan and they might go for someone that doesn't fit their old mold and run the offense through G and Millsap and eventually Burks and whomever they get to run with them at the one? Right now they need to be looking at who will best fit with Millsap and G because they are the guys they should be building around based on what I've been seeing despite all the love Favors and Jefferson get.

Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo told me it’s “possible’’ next season he could average 15 assists, which would break NBA record, but says it'd be “difficult.’’ “I got great guys around me that can make shots, so it’s possible,’’ said Rondo, who has averaged 14.1 his last 16 games. Rondo wants to take shot at John Stockton's NBA record of 14.5. Teammate Keyon Dooling believes he will. “I really honestly believe like 14 or 15. I believe that next year he’ll average around that,’’ Dooling said. Sulia

Might do it if he comes to the Jazz.

Justin Dentmon, the 2012 NBA Development League Most Valuable Player, is joined by Reno Bighorns guard Blake Ahearn, now a member of the Utah Jazz, Dakota Wizards’ forward Edwin Ubiles, Los Angeles D-Fenders forward Malcolm Thomas and Rio Grande Valley Vipers center Greg Smith on the 2012 All-NBA D-League First Team, as voted on the NBA D-League’s 16 head coaches. All five members of the First Team earned Call-Ups during the 2011-12 season.

Named to the Second Team were 2012 NBA D-League Impact Player of the year and 2012 Champion Eric Dawson of the Austin Toros, Springfield Armor center Jeff Foote, Los Angeles D-Fenders guard Courtney Fortson, who finished the NBA season with the Houston Rockets, Tulsa 66ers forward Marcus Lewis and Los Angeles D-Fenders guard Elijah Millsap. Of the five members of the Second Team, three spent time in the NBA during the 2011-12 season.

The Third Team consists of Maine Red Claws guard Morris Almond, who finished the NBA season with the Washington Wizards, Los Angeles D-Fenders forward Brandon Costner, forward Dennis Horner and guard Jerry Smith, both of the Springfield Armor, and Texas Legends center Sean Williams, who is currently with the Boston Celtics. Four of the five members of the Third Team earned Call-Ups during the 2011-12 season.

Congrats to Blake and Morris. Maybe invite Millsap to summer league? They've had pretty good luck with his bro.
